Since we are currently experiencing polar winds and marrow-chilling temperatures, this week we are sending you back to our March 25, 2012 post to take a look at spring. Winter was weeks behind us and the vestiges of spring were abundant. It was not yet barefoot weather, but the time to shed shoes, if you are so inclined, was not far away.

The dandelion, featured in our post,  though scorned by many and a frequent target of chemical warfare, is a brilliantly constructed creation of Mother Nature and is a sure sign of spring. Right now a good reminder that spring is just a few weeks away is a good thing.
