Back in September of 2011, we did a post that featured the old Saenger Theater in my home town of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It’s about the same as it was then, although some work has been done to stabilize the structure to slow down the relentless attacks of time and Mother Nature’s occasional fury.

This week, we are sending you to our original Saenger post to peruse the old house of entertainment — and a few of  it’s remarkable neighbors. You will see details of the aging theater’s exterior features among other things.

You can see some of the of the colorful Saenger neighbors on the Photo of the Week page at Corndancer dot-com. And even more of theater and its neighbors in our gallery featuring 31 pictures of old buildings — and the details that set them apart.
